What is Polygonle?
Polygonle is a Wordle-style word game with a geometric twist. Instead of a blank row, the board shows a pattern of polygons: triangles, squares, circles, diamonds, pentagons, hexagons, stars and crosses. Each shape stands for one letter. If the word has two Ts, both of those squares show the same shape, so you know where the repeats are before you type anything.
That clue lets the Polygonle game use longer words than Wordle. The daily puzzle here runs from six to eight letters, and you still get just six guesses. This page is a free Polygonle-style game you can play in any browser, with no account and no download.
The colours follow the rest of our site: red for correct, gold for present and grey for absent.

Polygonle modes: Daily, Mini and Unlimited
| Mode | Word length | How often |
|---|---|---|
| Daily | 6, 7 or 8 letters, changing each day | One new puzzle a day |
| Mini | 5 letters | One new puzzle a day |
| Unlimited | 5 to 8 letters, random | As many as you like |
Mini Polygonle is a quick warm-up with five-letter words, close to classic Wordle. Polygonle unlimited is for practice: press Play again after any game for a fresh word.
Auto-fill and Expert mode
Both options live in Settings. Auto-fill is on by default: when you type a letter, it fills every square with the same shape. Expert mode makes the game much harder, because every guess must follow the shape pattern exactly. Same shapes need the same letter, and different shapes need different letters. You can’t burn a guess on a word that ignores the clue, so each try has to be a real candidate.
Polygonle tips
Count the shapes
The label shows how many different shapes there are. Fewer shapes than letters means repeats.
Find the repeats first
Doubles like SS, EE, LL or OO often match two shapes side by side.
Use common endings
Long words often end in -ION, -ENT, -ATE or -ANCE. Check whether the shapes allow it.
Spread your vowels
Your first guess should test E, A, I and O on different shapes.
One shape, one letter
Once a shape turns red, every square with that shape has the same letter.
Tap to jump
Tap a square to place a letter you’re sure about, then fill the rest.

Polygonle answer today
Looking for today’s Polygonle answer? Play the daily puzzle above. If you run out of guesses, the answer appears below the board, and the result window lets you share your grid or play again. We don’t publish a separate Polygonle solver, because the shape pattern already does a lot of the work. Count the shapes, spot the repeats, and the word usually falls into place. The game is in English for now; a Spanish word list is not available yet.
