What is the Squaredle game?
Squaredle is a daily word search where the words aren’t in straight lines. They twist through a small square of letters, and your job is to find all of them. This page is a free Squaredle-style game you can play online with no app.
The Squaredle daily puzzle here is a 5×5 square with around 60 words. Squaredle Express is a quick 4×4 square with about 25 words, great for a coffee break. Both change every day at midnight Toronto time.
Squaredle unlimited mode gives you a fresh square whenever you finish one. Your progress, streak and stats are saved in your browser, so you can come back to today’s puzzle later.

Squaredle rules
Touching letters
Each letter must touch the one before it, up, down, sideways or diagonally.
One use per word
A square can’t be used twice in the same word, but it can be used in many words.
Four letters or more
Short words like CAT or SUN don’t count. Plurals and verb forms do.
Common words required
The word list holds everyday words. Rare or unusual words count as bonus words.
No time limit
A timer records your result, but there is no rush and no lives to lose.
Type or swipe
On a computer you can type a word and press Enter instead of tracing it.
